What would make the stool geyser water on its own?It made a rumbleing sound before this?
I heard a loud rumble sound and went to find water shooting straight up from the toilet 3 feet high. Soon after plugging the hole it quit as quick as it started. Why?
May I ask you a few questions? Is this toilet in your basement? Was it raining out when this incident happened? And did this water shoot up from the bowl or tank? I will be happy to answer your question.

Any experts on Atkins or South Beach or other low carb high nutrition diets for comments?
I am looking for any expert advisers who would take the time to comment on my views.
Simply because I do not want to steer anyone down a path to poor health since I have been down several myself and with bad results.
So I am seeking comments on my post that follows:

Gurus of Yahoo Answers, Questions about Hemorhoids: Is what I began for home treatment correct?
Sorry for the many questions on hemorrhoids!
So my doc's appointment got moved back to next week to look at my PROLAPSED hemorrhoid. Till then I am helping my body in the following ways:
- Increase fiber + water intake.
- Avoid going to the john until the "urge" hits. Then I breathe in and out to help avoid straining. I use wipes.
- Adding bioflavoroids (sp?) to diet to strengthen veins.
After starting this home treatment, I notice that when I have "proper" bowel movements (no hard stools, little straining, quick and dirty), I see less blood in the toilet, and less blood when wiping. Also, my hemorrhoid goes back in quicker and easier(shrinking?).
Note: I said "when I have..." I try to have good bowel movements everytime, but occasionally I don't get enough water, or fiber, etc.
As you may guess, I am not a fan of invasive surgery, hence the home treatment. I research a bit and found that high fiber diets do reduce symptoms, but take a while!
Am I going in the right directions?
P.S I am a college student, so surgery would hinder me a lot, but if it's the only way, I guess I must.
Also I am sorry if any descriptions gross you out!
Finally, for the medical experts/past experiencers, my hemorrhoid is not painful when it protudes, and when I contract the muscles, it goes back in smoothly. As my diet improves, the amount of blood on my feces decreases.
I believe so many people also use preparation H for pain relief and it also helps with the shrinking of them.
White spots in Stool - what do they mean?
As a quick background, over the past year, I had unexplainable stomach aches and more frequent than usually diarrhea. I had an endoscopy and colonoscopy, and nothing major was found (just a little inflammation). Doctors diagnosed it as IBS, with a chance that I could be allergic to Gluten (Coeliac Disease). Over the past 2 weeks, I've been seeing white spots in my stool. I didn't think much of it at first, but it's starting to worry me.
Any idea what it could be? Does it have anything to do with IBS or the potential allergy to Gluten? Keep in mind that I have had no changes in diet or medication (I take multivitamins and omega 3 fish oil on a daily basis, and occassionally take protein shakes after workouts), and am a pretty healthy eater (Low fat, high protein)
Stools can conceivably, and acceptably, come in a lot of shades of brown, and even black and green, but a WHITE STOOL IS NOT NORMAL and requires action If your stool is white it means it is lacking bile, which is digestive fluid produced by the liver and stored in the gall bladder. A lack of bile indicates the possibility of a problem in the biliary tract or liver. Healthy stool is brown and gets it color from the bile that is excreted from the liver during the digestive process and enters the small intestine. If the liver isn't producing bile or if it is but the bile is prevented or obstructed from leaving the liver, your stool will be white. There are medications that can turn your bowel movement white, including anti-diarrheal medications and big doses of Kaopectate or Pepto-Bismol. Some anti-fungal medicines, antibiotics and antacids can also have this effect on the color of your stool. Medical conditions that can cause stool to turn light colored or white include narrowing of bile ducts, gallstones, tumors, cysts, errors of metabolism, a liver infection such as hepatitis or biliary cirrhosis, and intestinal and bile duct congenital abnormalities. A bile-duct obstruction can be caused by a number of conditions, including gallstones, inflamed bile ducts, injury to the gallbladder from surgery, enlarged lymph nodes in the porta hepatis, cysts in the bile duct, tumors in the pancreas or bile ducts and tumors that have spread to the biliary system. Please see your doctor and try to have the required treatments. -
